A well earned stamp on the pilgrims passport, with a pint for good measure!

It was a pleasure to host the Oundle Pilgrimage group on their Walk Through History today.

Our lovely walkers have been braving the heat on a 15 mile route through Thorpe Waterville, Barnwell and Polebrooke all to raise money for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall.

Spanish Tortilla with Chorizo & Red Pepper
A rustic Spanish classic packed with flavour — layers of tender potato, smoky chorizo and sweet roasted red pepper, gently set with golden eggs and served alongside our homemade honey-glazed ham. Finished with a silky garlic aioli for a rich, creamy finish that brings every bite together.

Pan-Fried Pork Fillet
Tender pan-fried pork fillet served on a bed of slow-cooked red cabbage with creamy mashed potato, finished with a rich pink peppercorn and Port reduction. A beautifully balanced dish combining warmth, sweetness and depth of flavour.

We’re an independent country pub in a lovely rural setting, known for our friendly atmosphere, good food, and quality drinks. As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for reliable, hard-working people who enjoy working as part of a team.

We currently have part-time positions available for:

• Chef
• Kitchen Assistant
• Front of House Team Member

Hours are flexible and negotiable, with excellent pay and staff benefits included.
