Okay… we have a confession to make. We simply couldn’t choose this month! 😅🐾

We were completely torn between two gorgeous contenders, so for September we’re breaking our own rules and crowning TWO Dogs of the Month! 🥁

Two award wins. One month. And we’re still a little bit mind blown by it all! 🥹🤎

This August, we’ve been incredibly proud to add two more awards to The Woolpack journey…

🏆 Good Food Award 2026/27 – Gold Seal Winner

✨ Another incredible recognition and our fourth consecutive year being recognised by the Prestige Awards!

We never take any of these moments for granted. Behind every award is a whole lot of hard work, long days, late nights, a brilliant team and, most importantly, the customers who continue to choose and support us. 🥹♥️

The response to both wins has been absolutely lovely, so thank you for every kind comment, message and congratulations — they genuinely mean more to us than you know.

We couldn’t do this slightly crazy Woolpack journey without you all, and we’re incredibly appreciative to still be receiving recognition for what we do. 🫶🏼

☀️🍴 BANK HOLIDAY SUNDAY… SPENT THE RIGHT WAY! 🍴☀️

No work tomorrow, no school run in the morning… surely that calls for a proper Sunday lunch at the pub? 👀🙌

Our Sunday roasts will be coming out of the kitchen all day — piled high with all the trimmings, plenty of gravy and absolutely no washing up required! 🤤

And if a roast isn’t quite what you fancy, don’t worry — there’s still plenty of choice from the rest of our menu too, so there’s something for everyone around the table. 🍔🥗🍴

Add a cold pint, a glass of wine or maybe even a cheeky Bank Holiday cocktail special and we’d say that’s Sunday sorted. 🍻🍷

From Friday 4th September, we’ll be introducing our latest menu at The Woolpack.

Now, we’re not changing everything — plenty of your Woolpack favourites are staying firmly where they belong 🙌 — but you can expect a few new dishes, seasonal additions and little changes to keep things fresh as we head towards autumn. 🍂

Our kitchen team have been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready, and we’re very excited for you to try what’s coming! 🤎

The final Bank Holiday of the summer is almost here… and we’re ready for it! 🍻🍴

If you’re planning a visit to The Woolpack over the long weekend, Friday, Saturday & Sunday will all run to our usual food service times.

Then on Bank Holiday Monday, we’ll be serving food ALL DAY from 12pm–8pm 🙌

Whether it’s a leisurely lunch, drinks in the sunshine (fingers crossed! 🤞☀️), or rounding off the long weekend with dinner — we’ve got you covered.
