I’ve been waiting for this one.

After finally finding a locally made, artisan sourdough that meets the quality and standards I hold for Clean Crumbles, naturally I couldn’t just stop at offering loaves of bread. I had to turn it into something more.

Introducing Sourdough Stacks — three thoughtfully built sandwiches layered with fresh ingredients and sauces made completely from scratch right here in my kitchen.

CAPRI CHICKEN
Chicken, roasted red pepper, pickled red onion, baby arugula and scratch-made pesto.

GOLDEN GARDEN
Roasted sweet potato, shredded cabbage, cucumber, pickled red onion, sprouts, pepitas and scratch-made maple tahini Dijon.

TURKEY TROT
Turkey, Honeycrisp apple, pickled red onion, baby arugula and scratch-made maple Dijon.

Everything is gluten-free. Everything is dairy-free. Every sauce is made from scratch. Every sandwich was built with the same attention to ingredients, flavor and quality that goes into everything I serve at Clean Crumbles.

I have wanted to add sandwiches to this menu since the beginning, but I wasn’t willing to do it until I could do it right.

Now I finally can.

It’s been a long week, an even longer Friday, and I’m officially 12 hours into my day, with more to go.

So, naturally… ice cream sundae for dinner.

Because I’m an adult, I own a café, and apparently that means I get to make responsible decisions like this.

I have been waiting since the day I opened to say this… THE SOURDOUGH IS FINALLY HERE.

I refused to settle when it came to finding bread for the café. I wanted incredible flavor, the perfect texture, beautiful ingredients—and something that actually met the standards I have for everything I serve you.

And I finally found it.

Even better? It’s made locally by an incredibly talented woman named Molly. The taste. The texture. The flavor. It is simply perfect. And knowing I get to support another local woman while bringing you something you’ve been asking me for since day one makes this even sweeter.

I am SO ridiculously excited to finally bring sourdough to Clean Crumbles - and trust me when I say I already have plans for it.

Because this isn’t the only announcement…

An entirely new section is coming to the Clean Crumbles menu THIS WEEKEND.

And I have a feeling you’re going to be very, very happy about this one.

A gentleman walked into the café this morning, bought a CinnaSwirl and a water, and before he left, handed me a $50 bill.

He owns his own lawn care company, and said, “I know what it’s like.”

To start something of your own. To grind 24/7. To carry everything behind the scenes that no one else sees. The worry, the exhaustion, the sacrifice, the constant push to keep something you believe in, alive.

I shook his hand, thanked him… and then teared up after he walked out.

It wasn’t the $50. It was being seen.

Small business owners know there is an entire world behind the counter that customers will never see. So when someone who has lived it looks at you and says, keep going—it hits differently.

Sir, if you happen to see this, please know how deeply that gesture touched me. Thank you for seeing me, for believing in what I’m building, and for reminding me why I keep showing up.

I’ll remember this one for a very long time. 🤍

Baby Banana bread. My OG.

Before Clean Crumbles had a storefront, before the café, before any of this… there was banana bread.

I was a single mom, baking out of my house and selling loaves for a little extra cash. What started as simply doing what I needed to do became something people loved - and quietly planted a seed I had no idea would grow into all of this.

So every time I pull a fresh loaf of banana bread from the oven, it hits a little differently.

She’s not just banana bread. She’s where it all started.
