Many of our friends and visitors to the restaurant know my mother sustained a fractured femur about 8 weeks ago. She had multiple complications but ultimately semi-recovered and returned home. After four days she started to decline and was readmitted to the hospital.
Yesterday we found that she had infection that was not responding to treatment and with her, my dad and family input decided to move to Hospice level of care.
Her decline was much faster than expected, and she passed away this morning.
Now she is at peace, pain free and with God.
She was 88 years young.

We will have a limited menu on Saturday, July 11th while our chef supports his community during a UTV ride.

The ride raises money to purchase new fire-safety gear for the volunteer firefighters of Ridgeway Iowa.
