Today is the day! Luther class of 2026 it's your turn for a free single scoop cone or dish as an official "Welcome to our Luther Alumni Club!" And a special shout out to our very own: James Bradley.

James, we thank you for the last 3 years of scooping, scrubbing, shift-claiming and pretending you're the owner when you were mistaken for Nathan. (We think that's a win-win....people find Nathan than youthful, and you that you are so mature you could run this place?) If you have had the honor of chatting with James over the last 3 years please wish him well on his next chapter. Cheers to you James!

Rain or shine we are kicking off the Sugar Bowl Mobile Summer schedule TODAY alongside live music from Danny Whitson at Empty Nest Winery from 1p-4p. We highly recommend a giant soft pretzel to pair with your Rhubarb Crumble ice cream AND a freshly baked Rhubarb bar!

And if that wasn't enough, Empty Nest is releasing summer wines and....you guess it...Rhubarb Sangria!

Sunday find us in Harpers Ferry at Portside One Stop from 12:00pm-6:00pm with Waffle Nachos, super-premium hard serve ice cream and some Mill Street Mocha drinks to finish out the menu. Happy Summer everyone! We look forward to starting it with all of you!

🎓High School Grads today is your day! Sugar Bowl is open 12pm-9pm and today your cap is also your ticket to getting a complimentary scoop. 🎉 Come before or after your ceremony. Come solo, with friends and/or with family. Show us your cap and get a single scoop in a dish, sugar cone or cake cone free.

We know there are a lot of big decisions in your future, but having a free scoop of Sugar Bowl on graduation day is the easiest one yet! (Then again, choosing a flavor may not be as easy as it sounds...)

A special congratulations to Sugar Bowl's High School grad Addi Timp! Thankfully you'll still see here around this Summer before her next big adventure, but today she'll be celebrating her graduation from South Winn. Addi we are so thankful to have you on our team. Life is better with and the grads in your life would agree! As you head out to graduation ceremonies and parties, grab a Sugar Bowl gift card as the perfect gift. Not only can our gift cards be redeemed for ice cream, but also sweatshirts, tshirts, and even stickers for their laptop and water bottles, taking Decorah with them wherever they are headed next. Open 12pm-9pm, swing through before the ceremony or party begins.

Chances are if someone calls you Mom you fit in at least one (if not all) of those categories. (But if you found a secret way to eat ice cream without a child asking for a bite, we need to have a chat…)😉

Last night's Cotton Candy skies were the perfect backdrop to what even we didn't realize was a significant day. May 5, 2017 we unlocked the doors for the first time as the owners of Sugar Bowl, and yesterday was the perfect reminder of why we signed up for this incredibly sweet gig in the first place. The room was filled with post-concert performers and attendees. Beautiful dresses and snazzy shirts matched the colorful cone choices and heaps of gummy bears and sour gummy worms that filled the shop. Laughter bounced off the walls, and some of our very first customers shared in the moment with us, simply by coincidence. Yet, not coincidence at all. It's been our dream to create a space that people keep coming back to on the most significant days and the random Tuesdays, and yesterday was exactly that. So the next time you look up and see Cotton Candy filled skies we hope you are reminded of all of the magic that happens inside this shop. Thanks to all of you, we certainly do.

- We'll add TWO junior scoops of that flavor to your glass.
Step 2: Choose your drink.
- If you need a little afternoon pick-me-up give a Blue Raspberry Blast a try! And if you want something without caffeine, try any one of the Spring Grove Soda flavors we have on hand:
- Black Cherry
- Cream
- Green Apple
- Grape
- Lemon Sour
- Orange
- Rhuberry
- Strawberry

Or of course you can't go wrong with the OG classic Root Beer.

All pair very well with vanilla or get a little creative and try any of our 32 options. Don't forget if you want a Dairy Free option try them with an Italian Ice.
