Tablehurst Farm is a community-owned organic and biodynamic farm only a few minutes walk from the centre of Forest Row, and easily accessible by car from the A22 just north of the village. Our award-winning farm shop and butchery offers all our own produce including meat, poultry and vegetables, plus a wide range of other organic foods. We also have a cafe serving meals, snacks and hot and cold drinks in the summer season (March to October).

Our yoghurt and kefir are currently made with certified organic milk from a farmers cooperative called Organic Herd. It’s still made here on the farm just not currently with our own biodynamic jersey milk due to low milk yields which we are reserving for the milk macine. To increase our yields we need the land to recover from the drought, our lovely Jersey cows to calf and to grow our herd & infrastructure. We are fundraising for the latter. Speak to shop staff for more info on that!

100% of our milk from the machine still is our own raw jersey milk.

Tablehurst are a host venue! Come along to the meeting room and see the artists with their work, and attend workshops over the first weekend of September as part of an East Sussex-wide open studio event. Forest row is host to multiple venues to park up and go for a lovely art walk too.

We are currently selling bananas at half price! Perfectly ripe for making smoothies, homemade banana ice cream (delicious with chocolate and/or peanut butter which we sell too!) and banana bread - great activity to do with kids. Any suggestions or recipes please share in comments!
