Showmakase: a multi-course dinner curated by O-Ku, before the show 🎥

For dine-in guests on Friday, July 10th, we'll be offering a three-course dinner special, and you get to choose from select options.

🥟 Appetizer | dumpling dim sum, salmon usuzukuri, or yellowtail carpaccio
🍛 Main Course | saikyo salmon, short rib, or your choice of sushi plus three pieces of sashimi (tuna/hamachi/sake)
🍰 Dessert | sata andagi or peach cream cake

While the inspiration behind showmakase is to enjoy before the drive-in movie at Union Market, the special will be available all day for dine-in guests.

Every box includes 2pc fried dumplings, 4pc California roll, and your choice of two sides: seaweed salad, edamame, or cucumber salad.

Pre-order today by 11pm via email to [email protected]. Include your name, phone number, and any dietary restrictions. Pickup is at our host stand between 5:30–6:30pm on Friday, July 10; payment collected at pickup. Walk-in orders welcome all evening too.

Employee spotlight 🌟 Noah was our first Employee of the Month of 2026! Noah is an all-star food runner, server assistant and bar back. Although Noah joined the O-Ku DC team just last October, he has already made a big impact on the team with his hard work, and dedication to working collaboratively.

Noah is passionate about learning to bartend, and in his free time he plays keyboard and guitar in a band with a few other members of our back of house! 🎸🎹🎶 Next time you're in, if you see him behind the bar, or dropping off a dish to your table, be sure to say hi!
