At FLUID, Pride Month is a celebration of community, authenticity, and the beautiful spectrum of people who make this world brighter.

Our annual Friend of Dorothy has returned. 💖

Made from real hibiscus flowers steeped in-house, blended with our scratch-made strawberry emulsion, and finished with a little shimmer, it's vibrant, refreshing, and crafted with the same intention we bring to everything we make.

🌺 Hibiscus has been enjoyed around the world for centuries and is naturally rich in antioxidants. Its bright, tart flavor makes it one of our favorite summer rituals.

And if you've ever wondered, "Friend of Dorothy" is a historic phrase that became a quiet way for members of the LGBTQ+ community to find one another and connect in times when being open wasn't always safe. Today, it stands as a reminder of friendship, belonging, and the courage to be yourself.

At FLUID, we're proud to celebrate the people who make our community what it is.

Bring your dog to any FLUID location, ask your barista to snap a photo, and you're entered! 📸🐶

All summer long, each café will choose its favorite pup photo. Then we'll put the finalists online and let YOU vote for the winner. 👇

We are incredibly honored to announce the beginning of what will become an annual collaboration between FLUID Specialty Coffee Roasters, Finca Amistad in Costa Rica, and the Indiana Audubon through the Indiana Dunes Birding Festival. 🐦‍⬛✨

Each year, together, we will feature a rare Smithsonian Bird Friendly® certified coffee connected to conservation, migratory bird protection, biodiversity, and the extraordinary ecosystem surrounding the Indiana Dunes. 🌿

The Indiana Dunes are one of the greatest migratory bird corridors in North America. Millions of birds move through this region alongside Lake Michigan each year, making this area sacred ground for birders, conservationists, and nature lovers alike. 🌊🪶

FINCA AMISTAD is not simply a coffee.

It is a living example of stewardship.

While much of the coffee industry has shifted toward aggressive sun-grown production, Roberto Montero and his family preserved thousands of acres of forest and wildlife habitat in Costa Rica. Their farm exists in harmony with migratory birds, native trees, and the surrounding ecosystem.

That philosophy deeply aligns with FLUID. ☕️🖤

One of the coolest parts of the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center is that you can literally grab a coffee, walk the Indigenous Cultural Trail, watch the dunes film, wander the gift shop full of Indiana-made things, and then head straight to the beach.

Free parking. Lake air. Quiet Great Lakes mystical forest energy the whole way through. 🌙
