At Firebird we wanted to pay homage to the 100th Anniversary of the National Cherry Festival, we wanted to create a pizza that showcases one of Northern Michigan's most iconic flavors in a whole new way.

Inspired by one of our loyal guests, Jodie Pascal Brandt, we're proud to introduce The Cherry Boss!

We start with our homemade dough and layer it with a savory pancetta, onion, and sweet sausage base. Then we add our house-made cherry chutney, finish it with toasted Gorgonzola, and drizzle it all with a rich cherry balsamic glaze.

The result? A bold combination of sweet, savory, salty, and tangy flavors that celebrates everything we love about Cherry Festival season.

TOMORROW, May 8th, We will be donating 10% of all sales to "Relay for Life" to help in the Fight against Cancer to support research for a cure, celebrate survivors, and honor the memory of loved ones we’ve lost.

This is a powerful cause that has likely touched all of us in some way. A Relay for Life representative will be on-site during lunch and dinner to answer questions and accept direct donations.
