**Lake MacBride Legends – Hole In One Club Spotlight

We're excited to kick off a new series celebrating the golfers who have helped shape the history of Lake MacBride Golf Club.

Our first spotlight belongs to **Randy Miller**, who holds the club record with five recorded Hole In Onesat Lake MacBride. His aces came in **1989, 1992, 2005 (twice), and 2022, making him the most accomplished member of our Hole In One Club.

Congratulations, Randy, on an incredible achievement and for earning your place in Lake MacBride history.

Over the coming weeks and months, we'll continue recognizing members of our Hole In One Club and sharing the stories behind one of golf's greatest accomplishments.

He Was Just 7 Years Old...

One of the best parts of our Lake MacBride Golf Club Hole-in-One History Project hasn't just been finding names—it's been rediscovering the memories that make this club so special.

This week we received a wonderful email from the Lorenz family that perfectly captures what this project is all about.

In 2004, seven-year-old Mitchell Lorenz made a hole-in-one on Hole #3. After watching his shot roll all the way into the cup, his first response wasn't to celebrate—it was to ask his parents if they could play another nine holes so he could do it again.

His family even had a special keepsake made with the golf ball, the date, and the details of the shot. Today, Mitchell is 29 years old and has recorded four hole-in-ones, but that first ace at Lake MacBride is still one of the family's favorite memories.

They also shared stories of belonging to Lake MacBride in the early 2000s, storing their golf cart in the barn across the road, and raising their boys on our course. Those are the kinds of memories that make a golf club more than just a place to play—they make it a community.

Thanks to everyone who has reached out, we've now documented nearly 90 hole-in-ones, and the list continues to grow. Every email seems to uncover another great shot, another familiar name, or another story worth preserving.
