There’s an art to the hours before dinner.
Italy perfected it and called it aperitivo: a glass of w**e, something small to eat, and nowhere to be. We admired it so much we borrowed it.
At Piper, we call it Splash.🩷
Starting this week, we’re pouring four w**es every Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 PM: three ounces at a time, at $8, $9, $10 and $11.
Three ounces is just enough to form an opinion. Try the one you know. Try the one you can’t pronounce. No one is keeping score.
We open with Women Behind the W**e: four w**es, each with a woman behind it. Her name comes first. As it should.
Your first Splash includes a welcome bite from the kitchen. After that, three pairing bites are on the card, in case a little something turns into a little more. It usually does.
No occasion required. No need to rush.
Just w**e, a bite, good company, and the best reason we know to leave work on time.
