🎒 A LITTLE NOTE ABOUT OUR BACK-TO-SCHOOL GIVEAWAY ❤️

For the past 3 years, we’ve loved putting together our Back-to-School Giveaway for local students.

We put a lot of time, thought, love, and money into this every year because we genuinely want to help as many kids in our community as possible head into the school year feeling excited and prepared. ✏️📓🎒

Unfortunately, today something happened that we’ve never experienced in the three years we’ve done this.

We had individuals return to the giveaway multiple times and take a very large amount of supplies, including all of the backpacks we had available.

In the past, we haven’t felt the need to put strict limits on our giveaway. We’ve trusted everyone to take what their children need while being mindful that another family will be coming in after them.

We really want to be able to keep it that way. ❤️

So we’re asking for everyone’s help:

Please take what your child genuinely needs, but remember that these supplies are meant to help as many local students as possible. When one person takes significantly more than they need—or makes multiple trips to take additional items—it means another child may walk in later and find nothing left.

And we want to be VERY clear about something: There is absolutely no shame in needing help. That is exactly why we do this. If your kiddos need school supplies, please come get them! ❤️

We’re simply asking that the generosity behind this giveaway be treated with the same care and consideration with which it’s given.

We LOVE doing this. We love giving back to our community, and we hope this is something we can continue for many years to come. But for that to happen, we need everyone to help us make sure the giveaway isn’t taken advantage of.

To the overwhelming majority of you who have always been thoughtful and considerate when participating: thank you. 🫶

🎒 Take what you need. Leave some for the next kid. Let’s make sure as many students as possible get to start the school year with what they need. ✏️❤️
