If you’ve been to Bakehouse, you’ve seen Dolly. We dribbled little bits of her legacy throughout the house because we think the world just needs some more “good.” And that she was, down to her bones. We created our little library in our upstairs seating area with her in mind. Her coffee table book sits near our big pink sofa. There’s just no way it doesn’t make people feel a little bit better about this world.

Rest in peace, Dolly. We don’t quite have the grace and the magic you possessed, but we’ll try to keep it going down here for you.

Our rescheduled 2nd Annual COMMUNITY HEROES DAY is fast approaching! We’re spending the afternoon with Lebanon Police Department Wilson Co Sheriff TN Wilson County EMA to learn more about first responders and to thank them for everything they do for our community. There will be a bounce house from Bounce Brothers (courtesy of City of Lebanon TN), face painting by Amy Thompson, a hotdog bar courtesy of Olivia Craft Cocktail & Wine Bar, side walk chalk, bubbles, yard games and lots of special treats and swag from Bakehouse. Make plans to join us Saturday, September 19th for a day of first responder fun!

Some guy came in to the bakery this morning, was incredibly mean and rude to our staff the minute he walked through the door, was highly and vocally upset about our pricing even though he still purchased a few items and then proceeded to write a scathing one-star review on Google. So what do we do? We made it into a punk song! Go listen to “Pathetic Bakery.” It’s a banger 😂🤦🏻‍♀️🥐

A very rare employment opportunity is available at Bakehouse. Our sweet Ali is taking an opportunity to advance her career in the media field and we have an opening starting next week. We’re looking for a part-time employee available Thursday-Saturday. The ideal candidate has prior barista experience and will be cross-trained in both coffee and pastry.
