What an incredible Fourth of July from sunrise to closing time! We had an amazing day and night celebrating with all of you here at Island Lava Java.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, enjoyed great food and drinks, entered our raffle, and made the holiday so special. We truly couldn’t do it without this incredible community. Your continued support means the world to us, and we’re grateful to call Kailua-Kona Home, we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone again!

What an incredible experience Kona Brewfest was! 🍻🌺
Island Lava Java had an absolute blast being part of this year’s Kona Brewfest! A huge mahalo to Rotary for putting together such an amazing event, and to everyone who volunteered, participated, performed, and helped make the day such a success. It was truly an unforgettable celebration of our island community!
A special shoutout to Tumua Tuinei for bringing the laughs and keeping everyone entertained!

We here at Island Lava Java want to take a moment, from the bottom of our hearts, to thank each and every one of you who has supported us since 1994. Your love, loyalty, and continued support are what keep us going every single day.
On March 17th, 2026, we were honored to come together to bless our restaurant, our staff, our community, and most importantly, the land we are so fortunate to be a part of. We are deeply grateful to this island and to all of you for allowing us to continue doing what we love.
