Loyal Customers;

Baci Bistro was issued a citation last night, September 21st from the Liquor Board Commission due to a customer calling and complaining that we were not looking at vaccine passport. We will be closed for 24 hours, our doors will be back open on Thursday for anyone that would like to make a reservation and dine with us.

First, I would want to apologize to the 3 birthdays, 1 anniversary and 1 special date that had reservations for tonight but because of this we had to cancel their reservations, we are so sorry for this inconvenience. Thank you for being so understanding and also thank you rescheduling your dinners to Thursday night.

Second, to the person who complained we are not sure what your motive was or if you were just mad because we didn’t check your passport, but did you stop to think of the ramifications your call would make? Did you stop and ask yourself if the employees are hourly wage earners with some just making minimum wage? What impact will this have on their business? Because of this 9 people are out of work for tonight which means they will be short one days pay. Maybe that doesn’t seem like a lot to you but to them one day could mean enough money to pay rent, provide food for their family or having enough money to pay for insurance. Small businesses on this island have been hit very hard over the last 18 months and everyone is just struggling to make ends meet. To what purpose did it serve to call and complain because we didn’t check your vaccine passport? I hope that before you or the next person considering complaining about not looking at a mandate vaccine passport program you stop and think about what the ramifications will be with your actions.

For those that have been vaccinated great and for those that have not that is great as well. It is a choice, and we need to respect their decision. I am not writing this to get into a debate on what we should or should not do this is American the land of the free we need to remember this and start acting like we are free people and take our freedom back.

Baci Bistro - Temporarily closing for Lunch

Valued Customers - Due to the lack of staff, Baci Bistro unfortunately will have to close for their lunchtime service until such time that we can staff a server position. To all of our wonderful Baci Bistro Customers; we will be making some renovations to the restaurant which will mean we will have to close down for a few days. Please note that Baci Bistro will be closed during the timeframe of 05 through 08 April 2021. We will miss you all but feel the renovations will enhance this great restaurant.
