We’ve been getting a lot of questions about our new name. What exactly does Fei 菲 mean? The answer is not as straightforward as you’d think (Fei can mean a lot of things depending on the context) But overall it communicates the concept of good smelling beverages and humility.

3 Things You've Got All Wrong About Matcha:

1. Greener ≠ Better. A baseline of green is good, but different shading styles, cultivars, and other environmental factors all impact how green matcha is. A neon green matcha could be inferior to a less bright one.

2. China is capable of making decent matcha too. They've got the highest density of experienced tea producers in the world, guys! And the longest history of tea production to boot!

3. This one's gunna hurt your feelings. The highest quality of matches out there should be enjoyed alone, not with milk.
