Friday Feel good moment- one of my favorite things about being a small business owner are the relationships I get to make with the regulars that come in.

As I have gotten to know our one of our neighbors he asked if he could put a flyer on the community board for - I’m a very curious person and naturally started asking questions- now when he comes for coffee he leaves teaching me something new, giving me a new book to read, resource to start digging into, or a little nugget of wisdom that encourages me.

Recently he brought in new business cards and shared that he opened an office space and has started to offer in-person spiritual growth/counseling, healing, and empowerment sessions!

This week I had my first session with him and the space he has created safe, warm and welcoming.

As someone who finds it difficult to silence my mind and be still, this session showed me the value in prioritizing this. In our time together I was able to fully turn my brain off and work on an area I thought was healed but was still needing some attention, affirmations, and healing.

Thankful for our Covington Police and Fire- be smart, respectful and responsible this weekend, neighbors!

As we gather with family and friends to celebrate our nation's independence, the Covington Police Department wants everyone to have a safe and enjoyable Fourth of July.

Our goal is simple: Keep our community safe while allowing everyone to enjoy this special holiday.

Officers will use discretion when responding to fireworks-related calls, and our focus will be on situations involving public safety concerns, including:
🎇 Fireworks being used as weapons
🚗 Fireworks being directed at people or vehicles
👧 Fireworks being set off by unsupervised minors
🚧 Fireworks blocking roadways or disrupting traffic
🔥 Fireworks creating a fire hazard

We ask everyone to be considerate of your neighbors, supervise children, and celebrate responsibly.

🐝🍯Great news, neighbors! LOCAL organic, raw honey is back at the market🍯🐝

I met the incredible Beelicious Honey at the Pollinator Market a couple weeks ago and fell in love with her and her products!
