Dear friends, it's time to say goodbye.
As you may have seen in the news over the last couple of days, Doris and I are headed towards retirement. It's a bittersweet moment for us. We appreciate all of the support, love and encouragement that we've received in the last few days both in person and on social media. We're also deeply grateful to our employees- past and present- whose hard work, dedication, and friendship have been such an important part of Mozart's story
Mozart's is still here through December 24th this year. So... it's not goodbye YET. Come and see us on December 6th during the annual HolidayVille celebration where we'll be toasting 31 amazing years. There's still time to enjoy your favorites from Wiener Schnitzel to Apple Strudel, treat yourself to a W**e Tasting, and enjoy special events like the upcoming Taste of Clintonvillle.
Doris and I remain committed to Clintonville and the greater Columbus community. You'll still see us supporting the local events, causes and organizations that help our community to thrive. Auf Wiedersehen!
With gratitude,
Anand

Key Points
Longtime Clintonville bakery Mozart's is slated to permanently close on December 24, 2026. Owners Anand and Doris Saha are retiring after operating the European-style cafe for over three decades. The building has been sold, but the new owners plan to preserve it and name it "The Mozart Building."
A longtime Clintonville cafe and bakery is preparing to close its doors for good at
the end of the year.
Mozart's, located at 4784 N. High St., has served authentic European pastries,
schnitzels, sandwiches and more over its more than three decades in operation.
Business and building owners Anand, 59, and Doris Saha, 57, have made the
"bittersweet" decision to retire at the end of 2026, making Dec. 24 Mozart's final
day in business.
"This is probably the longest closing anybody's given to their customers ever,
because being in business for 31 years, we've made a lot of friends," Anand Saha
told The Dispatch. "This is our community, and we wanted to make sure that we
give them enough notice, just like how they embraced us 31 years ago."
