You all mean so much to me. As I am slowly going through each of your precious memories, kind words and sweet sentiments I’m brought to tears of joy, laughter and sadness. Raising children is hard and I’m so glad we made it easier for so many of you.

The willingness to contribute financially is humbling and generous. We really do have an amazing community of people.

If you find yourself able and wanting to contribute I’ll post Paypal and Venmo information below. Funds will be used to refund deposits, pay past due rent and other closing costs. Thank you so much.

For our liquidation sale, we are starting on Instagram and will post items and prices. Pick up times will be posted to keep social distancing down. We may have a mask required parking lot sale and will let you know more details, if necessary.

You Can Do Hard Things

It’s been 2 months and 2 days since we posted those words and closed our doors for the safety of the public and our beloved guests. The truth behind this statement has applied to so many aspects of our lives. It has stayed true and evolved as time progressed
We all know Firefly Play Cafe is a simple business designed to provide an essential element for every child’s development, PLAY. We have encouraged kiddos to Romp & Play for a few weeks shy of 10 YEARS! I’ve had 17 different, amazing team members; together we have watched your kiddos romp, play, laugh and grow.

Firefly Play Cafe is not going to be able to reopen. And it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever decided.

We are a simple business, with an income to debt ratio this closure can not overcome.

We will be liquidating our inventory and hoping to raise enough to give my landlord (who has been so patient) a portion of rent owed, pay our taxes and possibly chip away at the debt I will take with me after it’s all over. I understand there are 27 families who lost deposits for birthday parties that never happened. I have tried my best to run this business with integrity, and it hurts me the most to not have the funds to refund those families. For this, I am truly sorry. If you are one of those families and need assistance due to job loss, please let me know and I’ll see what we can do to refund a portion.
