It does look like we’re trying to keep people out.

The truth is...

We’re actually trying to welcome people in.

Charlie’s is run by just two people.

👨 Me.
👩 Debra.

The same guy who greets you…
takes your order…
makes your drinks…
serves your food…
cleans your table…
Collecting money...
answers your questions.

The same lady who fries every chicken chop…
plates every meal…
bakes every cake…
and serves you with a smile and too busy never smile kena 1star😂

We’re not a big restaurant with separate teams.

We’re two ordinary people wearing many hats every single lunch.

So that little red rope isn’t there to create exclusivity.

It’s there so we can welcome one table at a time.

No crowd standing over your shoulder while you eat.

No chaos.No pressure..

Just a calm little space where you can enjoy your lunch while we do our best to look after you.

This shop has never felt like a business to us.

It has always felt like our little home.

And when you walk past that red rope…
