Are you on the *lookout* for a beautiful pebble beach with barely anyone on it?

Then come visit Rye with nearby Winchelsea beach around the corner.

It’s a lovely stretch of coast, perfect for a dip to cool off and close to the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, so it’s wonderfully peaceful.

And, if you’re lucky, you may even have a swim with a seal - they are spotted regularly in this location!

Exciting news this 🍷

Our local vineyards have just launched England’s newest wine region - Rother River Wine - and Rye sits right at its heart!

It gets better...

To mark the launch, the new Rother Wine Triangle Sunday bus route begins on this Sunday 28th June.

3 x vineyards every Sunday, tutored tastings and a charcuterie lunch, departing from Rye station.

It’s the first wine trail in the UK with its own transport!

Follow along this press trip video to get a feel for things - it looks pretty special to us...

“First stop was Oastbrook, then Oxney (the UK’s largest single-estate organic vineyard), and finally Charles Palmer with those views all the way out to the sea. Three vineyards, twelve wines, a proper locally sourced lunch with pairings, and the kind of afternoon that ends with full bags of bottles and a chorus of “when can we do that again?”
..Plus, if you fall for a wine, buy 6+ bottles at any vineyard and they’ll ship them home for free.”
