“Bibi Graetz ‘Bambole’ is a soulful expression of Tuscan Sangiovese with crisp acidity cutting through richness of the dish and round, silky tannins complementing exceptionally tender, melt-in-the-mouth texture of fillet steak. The slightly earthy and herbal aspect of the wine enhances the flavour of seasonal asparagus and morels. The wine offers generous bright cherry, violets and small berry fruit notes which elevate the dish and bring balancing sweeter aromatic accent.”

Yesterday we marked International Women’s Day with a Literary Lunch in our Scottish Room, in partnership with . The gathering brought together 30 women to celebrate the work of Kate Mosse and the Women’s Prize Trust.

Founder Director of the Women’s Prize for Fiction and the Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction, Mosse is also the creator of the global campaign. It was therefore especially fitting to discuss her latest book, Feminist History for Every Day of the Year.

All proceeds from the Literary Lunch will be donated to the Women’s Prize Trust.

Executive Chef Jamie Shears has joined forces with Michelin Green Star chef and owner of , Chantelle Nicholson to create a limited-edition pie which celebrates whole-animal cookery and a distinctly British, seasonal larder: Durslade Farm Lamb, celeriac and Black Badger pea, finished with a wild garlic liquor.

This exclusive pie collaboration is available on our lunch and dinner menus until 8 March at Mount St. Restaurant.

PIE WEEK RETURNS 🥧

Executive Chef Jamie Shears has joined forces with Michelin Green Star chef and owner of , Chantelle Nicholson, to create a limited-edition pie which celebrates whole-animal cookery and a distinctly British, seasonal larder.

The pie? Durslade Farm Lamb, celeriac and Black Badger pea, finished with a wild garlic liquor.
