We couldn't have ended the cafe on a more perfect note...under the harvest moon which unbeknownst to me signifys transition & the end of a cycle.

It's was warm, calm & joyous.

I am filled with immense gratitude to you all for accepting me Into this little pocket of Cornwall and allowing me to realise something within. I have gained so much from this experience & i leave a different person to what I came here as. I didnt understand until the end how the cafe had taken on a life of its own over the years, it went beyond me and we were all a part of it. You have all thanked me, but now its time for me to thank you.

Immense thanks to Ron Lyne & all the family who we have rented the field from all these years. He didn't really know me that well, & took an absolute chance with letting me the field.

Thankyou to all the people who donated things to us over the years. Your energy I always felt added to essence of the cafe. Even one lady left us 2 deckchairs in her will, which touched me very deeply.

Thankyou to every single member of our ESK team who has worked so tirelessly over the years to contribute to the space...Sylvia, Oscar, Michelle, Ella, Abigail Poppy, Busby, Anna, David and all the people who came before.

Thankyou to Bethan Gilmartin for the incredible heartfelt film you made for us that captured the essence of the cafe so beautifully.

And lastly, thankyou to the very special person that is Ahmet Sami . You have been the Yang to my yin throughout this whole project. I had a dream & you helped me to bring it to life. We were meant to meet, we had gifts for each other and I will treasure mine forever. 💖

I will keep this page alive for anyone who wants to follow me onto my next chapter. It will be food, travel and some pop ups in the future. And also soon, I will share with you details of Samis continued venture....watch this space!

I am now taking orders for jars of Harrisa before the cafe closes. I don't have any of the fancy jars and labels as pictured above but I will have tons of the good stuff Inside! So get your orders to me ASAP. Bring tour own jar if possible (I have limited numbers)

The price has increased slightly as chillies are going out of season and the price has started to go through the roof. £8 for 300ml and if your jar is smaller I will adjust the price accordingly. ❤️
