Last Tuesday, we closed early for a special team‑building night — a chance to celebrate all the hard work our current staff put in this summer and to welcome back Blake Van Dam Shelton, who rejoined us after leaving last winter.

And because we’re a restaurant, what better way to team build than through food? We headed straight to Sakura in Kingston for a fun, all‑you‑can‑eat buffet dinner — laughter, plates piling up, and a team that felt closer than ever

Summer is ending, and we’ve had to say goodbye to two wonderful student staff — Arthur and Abby ☺️
Arthur has already flown back to the U.K. after working here for 3 weeks and Abby has returned to university, but their presence is still felt in our little Forfar kitchen. Abby joined us in May and became such a steady help during our busiest weekends…so we sent her off with a small token of appreciation, just to show how much she meant to us.
