For those of you who've spotted the old photo (slide 2) hanging in the shop and wondered if they're my grandparents...they're not! It's the Winns, who operated the telephone exchange here in the 40s. Zoom in, and you'll see the inspiration behind Telegraph's name and logo. ☎️

Since then, this space has been home to numerous businesses over the years, from Jack's Lane Bistro, to Sita's Spag Shop, Nova Kitchen, Drift and more..

Now it's home to Telegraph Coffee. ☕

Before opening the shop, I spent years working in corporate (don't @ me, Deloitte), most recently leading marketing at a startup. But being a barista has always been my favourite job.

Opening Telegraph was the biggest leap of faith (+ scariest professional decision) I've ever made. But I wanted to share my love of coffee + hospitality with our community on the coast.

We're so grateful to be part of this building's story and excited to continue its next chapter. 🤍

One month! We kinda soft opened and…stayed open 🤷🏻‍♀️ 😤
We’re incredibly grateful for the support you’ve all shown our small business this first month. Every coffee served, matcha hand whisked, conversation had, and dog petted, we’re here for it and just getting started!

We’re extending our hours for the summer so we can serve you better. More to come…👀🙂‍↕️
