It's another beautiful summer evening on Gabriola, and whether you're heading to one of the fantastic performances at the Cultivate Festival or simply looking for a relaxing dinner with family or friends, we'd love to welcome you to Woodfire.

If you're off to a show, why not join us for an early dinner before the performance? Or, if you'd rather eat afterwards, simply place your take-out order from 4:00 pm onwards and let us know what time you'd like to collect it. We'll have everything hot and ready for you when you arrive.

If the festival isn't on your agenda, there's no better way to enjoy these warm summer evenings than with dinner on our beautiful patio or inside our cool, air-conditioned dining room. Unfortunately, our patio will be closed this evening due to the weather, but our cozy dining room is warm, dry, and ready to welcome you.

The sun is shining, and tonight is the perfect evening to enjoy dinner on the patio.

Relax under the string lights, catch up with friends and family, and let us take care of the cooking while you enjoy a beautiful summer evening at Woodfire.

Tonight's feature is a wild sockeye salmon fillet, seasoned with our very own Gulf Island Lemon Pepper Spice and served on a bed of citrus sweet pea and mushroom risotto, finished with red pepper purée and fresh radish microgreens. The creamy, citrusy risotto is the perfect pairing for this beautiful piece of salmon.

Our salad special is a fresh combination of arugula, artisan greens, oranges, dried cranberries, goat cheese, and pistachios, finished with a creamy apple cider dressing.

To start, enjoy our warm citrus and chili marinated olives with sea salt garlic flatbread.

It's Wednesday, and that means Woodfire is open again!

What better way to break up the week than with dinner on the patio, a little sunshine, and someone else doing the cooking?

We've added some delicious new dishes to the menu, including our new Flame-Grilled Sirloin Steak featuring AAA Canadian beef, served with creamy rosemary garlic mash, wood-fired vegetables, and a rich peppercorn cream sauce.

We're also excited to introduce our Roasted Portobello Mushroom Ravioli, tossed with grape tomatoes, grilled asparagus, toasted pine nuts, fresh parmesan, and a bright citrus butter sauce.

And if you're saving room for dessert, our new Lemon Mascarpone Cheesecake is already proving popular, served with berry compote and whipped cream.
