Meet the CHEF ✨

We are thrilled to announce that Mike Bye has officially been promoted to restaurant Chef!

If you’ve dined with us before, there is a very good chance you’ve already fallen in love with Mike’s food—he has been a cornerstone of our kitchen team for quite some time now.

We pride ourselves on consistency and quality, and Mike has raised the bar on both. Beyond his dedication and talent on the line, he is an exceptional leader, rock-solid teammate, and quite simply one of the most genuine, lovely people you could ever hope to work with.

There is absolutely no doubt that Mike is the perfect person to lead our kitchen into this next chapter, and we couldn’t be more excited.

With this, we want to give a heartfelt thanks to Chef Julian Smith for the time he spent with us. The expertise and techniques that he instilled in our culinary program are invaluable- we’re so grateful that he landed in our restaurant during his time on the island. Julian set sail a few months ago on the other side of the world- he’d love to host you on the yacht he’s working on - Let’s all chip in and go 💸 💰⛵️

Literal Meaning: Derived from French, it literally translates to “(it) entertains (the) mouth” or “mouth amuser.”

Concept: Unlike a standard ordered appetizer, it is a tiny, usually one- or two-bite sample provided free of charge by the chef to showcase their creative style and awaken the diner’s palate.

Meet the bartender 🍋‍🟩

It’s Selene! This absolute ray of sunshine is the face behind the craft cocktails you’ve been enjoying lately. Her self-proclaimed flair for women in STEM 🧪 has been a driving force behind some of her most interesting and delicious cocktails (clarified cereal milk, anyone?) She’s added serious depth to our bar offerings, and she is really, really cool to boot 🌞

When she’s not slangin’ the dranks, she’s working a superhero daytime job, she’s forest dwelling with her 2 dogs, she’s eating her husbands delicious snacks, and she’s just out there being the best friend ever to her crew. This one is a gem and we’re so lucky to have her as part of the team!
