House-made potato noodles given the Dandan treatment: siumiyacai (Sichuanese preserved mustard green stem), pork mince, cucumber, peanuts, and seasoned sesame paste dressing. Lime zest and fennel seed and star anise cured Kingfish (subtlety is king with this cure - well, Kingfish is the king, so to speak, but we’re quite sure you take our meaning!), tamarind ponzu, makrut lime leaf oil, Yarra Valley salmon roe, and chiffonade shiso. As with so much in life, less is more and this is certainty no exception. We are open today from 5 pm.

Soy sauce. One of the most iconic and fundamental condiments in the world and something we are particularly partial to. We give it a very good shake of the sauce bottle in our kitchen at shop 263. Such is our taste for the stuff that Keat teamed up with Broadsheet to take a more forensic deep dive and appraisal of some of the most readily available soy sauces on the market, as well as some that we use in high rotation at LD. And while it may not be this exact steamed Humpty Doo barramundi with fenugreek and mustard seed curry and grilled okra, it will afford the recipient this and much more besides.
