Stone Fest is a free-entry day of live music and DJs at The Gem, presented as part of Leaps and Bounds Music Festival.
It’s a Sunday session built around great local music, thoughtful songwriting and artists who bring something real to the room, held in an institutional Collingwood pub and live music venue.
The lineup brings together indie rock, alt-country and folk-adjacent songwriting from some of the best local and national songwriters, with vinyl records playing between bands and after the live sets.
Free entry, good artists, cold beer, hot food and good times.
At its heart, Stone Fest is about making space for stories, songs and collaborations that deserve to be heard properly. Across the day, the lineup champions female voices while celebrating the bands, friendships and creative communities that help bring those songs to life.
It’s a chance to be transported through melody into the worlds of the storytellers on stage, and to make room for those stories to land with an audience. Some songs are written alone, some are carried by a band, some find new meaning through the voice that sings them. Stone Fest is about holding space for all of that.
Come early, stay for the day, catch new artists, see old favourites, have a drink, eat, and feel part of the Leaps and Bounds program without needing to buy a ticket.
The event will run from 2pm on Sunday 19 July at The Gem, with live music across the afternoon and evening, and vinyl DJ sets from DJ Jeepster between bands and afterward.
