The amazing staff at Vora Restaurant European made sure their Mother's Day Brunch surplus did not go to waste. One of our volunteers picked it up and delivered it straight to Wichita Fellowship Club, Inc. so our neighbors experiencing food insecurity could enjoy a little celebration too.

This is what food rescue looks like at its best: a restaurant with a big heart, a dedicated volunteer, and a community that shows up for one another. We are so grateful for partners like Vora who see the value in making sure good food finds its way to the right place.

If your restaurant or business has surplus food after events, we would love to connect! The key is getting on our weekly schedule or giving our team at least 48 hours notice in advance. It is always better to have a rescue route set up even if there is no surplus at the end of the day. Reach out to us at [email protected] to get started!
