Our very own Chef Thi Cao is heading back into the competition for this yearā€™s Battle of the Chefs: All Star Edition!

Chef Thi previously competed in the Appetizer category and came away with the WIN šŸ†. Now heā€™s back, but this time the challenge gets a little bigger as he takes on two incredibly talented chefs in the ENTRƉE category.

Making this round even more exciting, Thi will be going head-to-head with one of his favorite chefs in Milwaukee, Chef Joe Muench of Black Shoe Hospitality. Joe has been a major part of Milwaukeeā€™s culinary scene for years and is one of the talents behind some of the cityā€™s most beloved restaurants, including Maxieā€™s, Blueā€™s Egg, and Story Hill BKC.

Thereā€™s a tremendous amount of friendship and respect between these chefs, which makes getting the opportunity to compete against Joe that much more special. But once those aprons go onā€¦ itā€™s game time. šŸ”„šŸ”Ŗ

Battle of the Chefs is ultimately about what Milwaukeeā€™s food community does best: great food, talented chefs, friendly competition, and celebrating the food scene we all love.

Well, hello there! Just popping in to tell you about this beautiful Summer Zucchini Pie! Layers and layers of thin sliced Zucchini, wrapped together atop a bed of Lemon- herb Ricotta, creamy Mornay sauce and House-made (and grown) Basil/Spinach Pesto! Blistered Tomatoes and toasty shaved Parmesan make this dish beyond satisfying. šŸ˜‰
