That famous iconic blue pepsi cooler found a new home at Shorty's Famous Hot Dogs down the street!!

Super excited to have acquired the vintage Pepsi cooler from Tim at the NC General Store. Tim and his father Rusty made the general store a go-to destination in downtown Wake Forest over the last 20 plus years. While we all hate to see the store close, we are honored to have a small piece of the NC General Store live on right here at Shorty's Famous Hot Dogs. So stop on by and grab an ice cold glass bottle drink right out of the cooler, and give a salute for Tim and his dad Rusty for all they have done for the community and our wonderful downtown. We’re gonna miss you and good luck with all your future endeavors.

Today is North Carolina General Stores last day. Want to thank Tim and his family for the last 18 years of being our neighbor and friend. Please come say goodbye to one of our favorite shops. Love you guys! ❤

Happy Birthday America!!! We are open today from 8 am to 6 pm! Start the day at 10 am on North Main Street with the Traditional 4th of July Children's Parade and head on Downtown WF afterwards for some cool AC and iced drinks!

Happy 250th Birthday America! We are open all weekend, closing a little early on the 3rd and 4th so we can enjoy the fireworks too! Plenty of AC and cool drinks to get us through the heat too!
