Let’s set the record straight. 👊

David Feige is a friend of Hinano Cafe and the businesses of Washington Square. Like any neighbors who share a street, we have differences. But we work through them — constantly, honestly, and with mutual respect. That’s what good neighbors do.

What we don’t do is put each other’s faces on “Wanted” posters. That reckless and irresponsible act had nothing to do with us, and we condemned it immediately.

What you see here is the real picture: Mark Van Gessel (Hinano Cafe ), Manuel Giusti (Casa 12 ), and David Feige — friends, breaking bread, doing the work.

Washington Square is a community worth investing in. We’re all invested. ❤️
