GOOD COP BAD COP / THIS EVENING! SAT, Oct 17 / HINANO / 6-11 PM:

This evening, Saturday, October 17, will be GCBC’s first Hinano performance of autumn. But since summer-like weather is back, and since we’re in the middle of the baseball postseason, we’ll be bringing a excellent new song — “The Boys of Summer,” which seems appropriate.

Performing at Hinano monthly for over 23 years (now over 276 performances) makes Good Cop Bad Cop not only a Hinano tradition, but also a Venice institution.

GCBC at Hinano is always a musical, fun, high-vibin’ evening for fans and homeys, old and new.

Set a reminder, text your besties, and let’s get it on!

GOOD COP BAD COP / THIS SAT, Sept 19 / HINANO / 6–11 PM

Twenty-three years ago this month, something happened at Hinano Café that no one had any idea would turn into a 23-year run.

On September 13, 2003, Good Cop Bad Cop played its very first gig—right there at Hinano.

And here we are.

Twenty-three years later, we're still coming back to the same place, still playing for Venice, still making noise, and still having a ridiculously good time doing it.

To celebrate Good Cop Bad Cop's 23rd Anniversary, we're bringing a new song to Hinano: “Happy Together” by The Turtles.

Seems appropriate.

Mark your calendar, set a reminder, text your besties, and come celebrate 23 years of Good Cop Bad Cop—and 23 years at Hinano. We'd love to see you there. ❤️

There’s a reason Good Cop Bad Cop keeps coming back to Hinano Café.

Actually, there are 275+ reasons.

We played our first-ever GCBC gig there in 2003. Since then, we’ve played Hinano more than 275 times—and somehow, after all these years, people still come up to us and say:

“You guys are great.”

Longtime Venice locals. People who just wandered in. Young people. Old people. Women and men. People who have seen us a hundred times.

That means something to us.

Because Hinano isn’t just another bar we play.

It’s where Good Cop Bad Cop began.

Come be part of the continuing story.

THIS EVENING, SAT, May 16 / GOOD COP BAD COP / HINANO / 6-11 PM:

23+ years strong — a true Venice and Hinano tradition.

Always a high-vibin’, good-times night with GCBC fans and homeys — old and new alike.

Following the enthusiastic reception to our debut of Frampton’s “Baby, I Love Your Way” last month, this evening we’ll roll out our version of another surprise classic and crowd favorite (somehow, the ladies are very fond of this one), along with plenty of GCBC fan favorites.

Set the reminder. Rally your bestest besties and come get your Spirits tuned up with GCBC.

See y’all at Hinano.
