Well… I guess if anyone was going to make my goodbye post, it had to be me 😂📸

After two years of early mornings, way too much coffee, questionable sleep schedules, and more latte art than I can count, it’s officially time for me to say goodbye to Mountain Coffee House. 🤎

I’ve spent a lot of my time here behind the camera, occasionally in front of it, making our signs, creating content, perfecting my latte art, and probably taking 47 pictures of the same drink before deciding which one was actually Instagram-worthy.

But more than anything, I’m leaving with a family. I’ve met some of the best people here, made so many memories, and had a lot of laughs along the way. This place became such a big part of my life, and I’ll always be grateful for the people who made these last two years so special.

As for why I’m leaving… let’s just say my schedule and I are no longer on speaking terms 😂 I’ve got a lot going on, and I think it’s finally time to slow down, take a breath, and make a little more room for life outside of the coffee shop.

I’m going to miss this place, the people, the chaos, the early mornings, and even the occasional drink order that made me question my career choices.

Thank you for two incredible years. I’ll always be cheering on my coffee shop family from the other side of the counter. 🤎☕️

Now someone else can take over the camera… good luck. 😂

Our last wave goodbye to Alannah 🥹💗

After about three years with our team, Alannah is officially moving on to her next chapter, and while we’re absolutely heartbroken to see her go, we couldn’t be more proud of our girl. 🥹☕️

Alannah has done so much for this shop and has left a little piece of herself in everything she’s touched. She’s our product placement girl, the one who puts a little extra love into every drink, and the girl who somehow always kept the rest of us in line. 😂💕

We truly don’t know what this shop is going to look like without you, Alannah! You’ve been such a special part of our team and our Mountain Coffee House family, and we’re going to miss you more than you know.

We’re so excited to see where life takes you and all the amazing things you’re going to accomplish in this next chapter. We love you, we’re so proud of you, and we’ll always be cheering you on! 🫶🏼✨

It’s hard to imagine the shop without Gabe.

From starting at the shop at just 15 as an intern to becoming such a huge part of everything we do: artist of the month, events, social media, and just the overall vibe, you’ve left your mark in ways that go way beyond coffee.

You’ve always brought creativity into the space, whether it was through your own writing, filming, editing, or collaborating with other artists around Tehachapi. And somehow you still made time to perfect your craft behind the bar (even if we all knew you’d eventually choose a cortado over everything else).

But more than anything, it’s been about the energy you brought. The way you connected with coworkers, regulars, and even random travelers you made people feel welcome, seen, and part of something.

The shop won’t be the same without you, your personality, or your dance parties and honestly, we can already feel it.

Go chase everything you’re meant to do, we already know it’s going to be something great.

We’re going to miss you, Gabe 💐🎥🍿🎞️✈️
