My name is Dee, proud owner and chef of Lady Dee’s Kitchen—the home of Comfort You Can Taste.
My love for cooking began long before I ever opened my business. I grew up in the kitchen beside my mom and dad, learning that food is so much more than a meal—it’s love, tradition, and the heart of every gathering.
As a troubled teenager, I was often underestimated and written off. Instead of allowing other people’s doubts to define me, I used them as fuel. Every obstacle became motivation to build something greater than anyone expected.
Life hasn’t always been easy. As a nurse, nursing student, mother, and entrepreneur, I’ve experienced setbacks, disappointments, and seasons where I wasn’t sure how I would provide for my family. But those moments taught me resilience, faith, and perseverance.
In September 2025, with little money but a heart full of determination, I took a leap of faith and started Lady Dee’s Kitchen. What began as a side hustle to help feed my family has grown into a business built on passion, purpose, and community—a legacy I’m proud to leave behind.
At Lady Dee’s Kitchen, every dish is prepared with intention, because I believe food isn’t just about satisfying an appetite—it’s about feeding the soul.
