Every donation, every cup of coffee, and every visit to The Local Cup helps us continue our mission. As a nonprofit coffee shop, your support allows us to keep our doors open, provide meaningful employment opportunities for local teens, and continue serving our community.

☕️ A Summer Update from The Local Cup ☀️

As many of you know, The Local Cup is more than just a coffee shop. We’re a nonprofit, pay-it-forward community space that exists because of the generosity of our neighbors.

During the school year, we’re fortunate to have work-study students on our team, which helps us keep operating costs manageable. When summer arrives, those students return home, and we rely heavily on hiring and supporting local neighborhood youth. While we’re grateful to provide these opportunities, it also means our payroll expenses increase significantly during the summer months.

Every dollar that comes through our doors helps keep the shop maintained, the coffee brewing, our shelves stocked, and most importantly, our staff employed. As our neighborhood continues to grow and more options become available, your support matters now more than ever.

If The Local Cup has ever brightened your morning, provided a place to gather, or made you feel welcomed, we would be incredibly grateful for your support this summer. Whether it’s stopping in for a drink, bringing a friend, sharing our mission, or making a donation, every contribution helps sustain this special place and the young people we employ.
