The Willard Rooftop Lounge offers signature craft cocktails and Mediterranean-inspired bites alongside stunning views of downtown Raleigh. The centerpiece of The Willard is the main rooftop patio with panoramic views of the Raleigh skyline and a dual-sided fireplace surrounded by comfortable, yet modern, seating. enu playfully leans into Raleigh’s nickname as the City of Oaks, offering signature craft cocktails aged in oak barrels and cocktails where smoke is a key ingredient. The seasonal dinner menu takes inspiration from Spain and across the Mediterranean. It includes Tapas-style small plates like papas bravas, fried Manchego cheese, Marcona almonds, and more) as well as salads, flatbreads, charcuterie plates, and burgers. Swipe for the full Swift Night Out lineup. 🐦➡️🍹

🐦 First up: Monday, September 21, at 6 PM, join us at The Willard Rooftop for a presentation with ornithologist John Gerwin, followed by a rooftop viewing of the chimney swifts as they make their fall migration.

🍹 Then, meet the Chimney Bird, our $13 featured cocktail made with Kill Devil Pecan Rum, Campari, pineapple, lime, and demerara.

The event is free and open to all. Come for the birds, stay for the cocktail.

Our Bar Lead, Rebekah, put her creativity, technique, and love of craft cocktails on full display as she made it through to the semifinal round of the NCRLA Chef Showdown.

For her first-round cocktail, Peachy Buzz, Rebekah took a traditional dry martini and gave it a Carolina twist: End of Days Barrel-Aged Gin, Dolin Dry Vermouth infused with local peaches from Lee's Fruit, and a house-made Carolina Reaper hot honey syrup made with honey from Sugarloaf Orchards in Taylorsville, NC. The finishing touch? Honey chèvre-stuffed olives from Francee Farms in Rocky Mount. She paired it with the Peachy Mary, a house-made mocktail built on local vegetables from Ronnie Moore's farm with peach simple syrup, hot honey, and lemon, topped with club soda.

What we love most? Rebekah's approach to bartending — taking ingredients that guests might normally hesitate to try and finding a way to make them approachable, balanced, and genuinely fun.
