Where should we grow next? 🤔
With Iyla’s 8th birthday quickly approaching on the 20th, we have been really thinking about what the future could hold. If we were to open a second location - full service, full bar, private room - where would you like to see us open? We would love to be able to expand our catering offerings, host special events, and give back to the community in even bigger ways.🐓

(Even better, if you know of a family looking to sell their restaurant or even a second generation restaurant space, DM us! We are patiently waiting for the right opportunity to present itself.)

Hello! We have made SO many new friends over the last weekend (HIIIIII ZEVVVV!) that we thought it might be worth re-introducing ourselves. We are Greg & Shannon Nelson, and we love sharing our love of good food and southern hospitality. Greg is the chef/owner of Iyla's, which is named for his daughter, and he is the culinary genius behind all your favorite bites. Founded in 2018, this secret Raleigh gem has been pumping out some of Raleigh's best food for just shy of 8 years. In 2024, his wife Shannon joined the team, helping with marketing and kick starting our catering and community education programs.
We are so happy you are here and want to thank each and everyone one of you! We will never take for granted that you chose our local, independent, family run business. Whether you have been with us since the beginning or just found us today, we're so glad you're here. 💖🐔
