“Hello….
The cafe will be closed again this weekend as I grieve the tragic and sudden loss of my (dog) best friend, and most loyal and loving companion, Sadie Mae.
While under the care of a pet sitter last Thursday, Sadie was hit by a car and died...
I am doing my best to pick up the pieces but life right now is tremendously hard.

- Currently, I’m unsure if the cafe will re-open at all... I still love you all so much, and I’m so grateful for the love and support I feel from you in return…. I’m just so tired you guys… I don’t know if I can keep doing it all.
One thing do I know for sure, we will still be taking special orders and vending at PSU and the this summer, and I need your support.
I’m sorry this post isn’t glamorous or fun or funny in any way. It’s just the truth.
Small business ownership is hard, and lonely, and the restaurant business is so fu***ng brutal…. And the best part of my day was always coming home to Sadie… I just don’t know what my life is without that part right now.
So that’s that. I will update you all as soon as I can.
