James K. Louie was on the board of directors for the non profit, Folk Time which has worked to create connection, hope and belonging for people experiencing mental health challenges for the past four decades. July 14th will mark the one year anniversary of his passing. 79% of Huber's proceeds from that day will support Folk Time, symbolizing the 79 years of his life. July 24th will be the 31st anniversary of when Mayor Vera Katz proclaimed this day to be Huber's Cafe day. As many of you know back in the day, Huber's patrons would receive a free turkey sandwich upon ordering a cocktail. To celebrate Huber's day, we will be providing free turkey sliders all day when you purchase a drink. We look forward to celebrating 147 years with all of you.
