Don’t worry — we stay in a silly, goofy mood around here. 😂☕️

There may be jokes behind the counter, random dance breaks, questionable singing, and a little bit of chaos happening at any given moment… but the second your order comes through, we are LOCKED IN. 😤

Because behind every latte is a barista steaming, pouring, measuring, tasting, cleaning, remaking, and making sure your drink is exactly how it’s supposed to be.

We might be laughing while we do it, but we take your coffee seriously. Very seriously.

So yes, you may catch us being a little ridiculous behind the counter… but just know we’re still working hard to make sure that latte, cold brew, refresher, or espresso gets into your hands tasting delicious every single time. 🖤

Dolly was an absolute legend. ✨💖

As a locally owned, woman-run business, Coffee Tree has always loved what Dolly represented — talent, confidence, generosity, humor, and never being afraid to add a little extra sparkle to the world.

So naturally, our incredibly talented baristas had to pay tribute the Coffee Tree way… by having Dolly herself on our refreshers. 🥹☕️🎨

And apparently 2026 is the year of bedazzling everything, so we have one question:

Why stop at the outfit when you can bedazzle your coffee cup too? 💎😂

The recent earthquake has been heartbreaking to watch, and today we’re thinking about the people, families, communities, and coffee-growing regions that make Colombia such an extraordinary place.

For Coffee Tree Roasters, Colombia isn’t just a name printed on a coffee bag.

Some of the coffee we roast and serve begins on small farms there — including a Gesha from Huila, San José de Isnos, grown by producer Juan Darío (pictured in the photo) on land that has been in his family for generations.

His family’s story with coffee stretches back decades. Today, Juan continues that legacy through careful farming, processing, experimentation, and an incredible dedication to the craft.

It’s a reminder that behind every bag of coffee is a person, a family, a farm and a community.

So when you choose coffees like this from Coffee Tree, you’re not only supporting a local Pittsburgh coffee company — you’re participating in a much larger coffee community that connects us to producers around the world. ☕️🌎

During this difficult time, our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Colombia and everyone affected by the earthquake.

We’re proud to roast Colombian coffee, proud to share the stories of the people behind it, and incredibly grateful for everything Colombia contributes to the coffee we love. 🇨🇴☕️❤️

There’s something special about becoming part of someone’s routine. ☕️

We met this customer while he was grabbing his coffee before heading into a business meeting, and he told us Coffee Tree has become one of his go-to stops whenever he needs that afternoon caffeine fix.

And that’s really what we’re about.

We’re not trying to reinvent coffee every week or chase every trend. We like to keep things simple: make really good coffee, serve it well, and create a place people actually want to come back to.

Before work. Before the meeting. During the afternoon slump. Or just because you need your favorite drink.

Our regulars keep choosing Coffee Tree time and time again—and we’ll never take that for granted. 🖤🌳

A lot of people don’t realize that Coffee Tree Roasters is local to Pittsburgh. ☕️🖤

We’ve been proudly serving our community since 1993—not as a massive conglomerate, but as a local business that began with one man, one dream, and a genuine love for great coffee.

More than 30 years later, that dream is still growing—one cup, one customer, and one Pittsburgh neighborhood at a time.

And honestly? We think we’re doing a pretty good job. 😉🌳
