زعتر, Zaatar, Za’atar, Zatar…

is an Arabic word that means Thyme, the Zaatar commonly used in cooking is a spice mix consisting of Thyme, sesame seeds and sumac.

At Centred we always take pride in sourcing and serving the highest quality ingredients in our creations! In our Zaatar Croissant with Labne we source Zaatar and Sea Salt from harvested in Palestine, Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Lebanon and the best yogurt in the world from Greece.

Our house-made Labne is strained cows’ and sheep’s milk yogurt with sea salt. A traditional method used for generations across the Middle East to separate the whey from the yogurt resulting in a thick rich and creamy cheese like spread that’s rich in probiotics, protein and calcium!

Great for supporting gut health and bone strength!
