After over nine years of serving coffee in Shadyside, we’re finally turning the music off one last time. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to have been part of the neighborhood and your lives even in just a small way. We may not have been everyone’s cup of coffee but I’m proud to say that we never wavered in our intention to share the best coffee that we could, in the best way we knew how. I am also personally very honored that you allowed me to share a little bit of my Filipino culture through the shop (though I will not miss making Thrilla sauce any time soon!). I am also deeply grateful that you helped us out whenever we asked for help in raising money for the different communities that we cherish across the city of Pittsburgh, the United States, and even the world.

We are trying to stay open at least through the end of April though that is in constant flux. We’ll be more definitive in the coming days. I’ve got a lot of coffee left to roast and shop merch to dispose of so stay tuned for some nice sales. Also, it would be my dream to hand over the reins to someone who’s always wanted their own coffee shop and is looking to be a part of this community just as much as we’ve tried to over the years. I’m very open to discussing the future of this space we’ve called home for so long and what that might look like financially, etc. If you’re serious, please feel free to reach out.
