As we anticipate the coming months and the abundance of summer’s harvest, sun-ripened tomatoes, fragrant herbs, and long evenings shared around the table, dishes like Puttanesca remind us of the simple goodness still to come.

At Sandy Ridge, summer is about gathering well… celebrating milestones, hosting friends, lingering over wine, and creating memorable moments together.

Whether you’re planning a special occasion, summer soirée, rehearsal dinner, or casual evening with friends at one of our Supper Clubs, we look forward to being part of your season. 🍷

Chef Jamie’s PUTTANESCA “STARTER”
Yields Sauce for 1 pound of prepared pasta

½ cup Italian olives, pitted & chopped
½ cup green olives, chopped
½ cup golden raisins, soaked in warm water for 5 min. to
soften
1 cup Marcona almond
4 each anchovies, rinsed & mashed
1 Tbsp capers
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp crushed red pepper
2 tsp black pepper
½ cup extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
juice of 1 lemon
2 cups halved cherry tomatoes, pan sautéed & chilled
1 cup shaved parmesan cheese
salt & pepper to taste

Combine all of the above ingredients except for the tomatoes
& parmesan cheese. Mix gently and place in a shallow bowl.
Cover for at least 2 hours or up to 2 days.

To Serve:
Prepare 1 pound of your favorite pasta. When cooked al dente, strain water carefully reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water and while the pasta is
still warm, toss with Puttanesca base into the pasta along with the 1/2 cup of pasta water. Lightly season with salt
& pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh herbs & shaved parmesan. Enjoy!

Join your gracious hosts, Chef Jamie and Kate, on Thursday, June 11th from 12–3PM for an elegant afternoon inspired by timeless English luncheon traditions, sparkling and still wines, charming cuisine, warm hospitality, and the beauty of summer.

Guests will enjoy an array of thoughtfully curated offerings including Chicken & Biscuits, Shrimp Salad Toast, St. Tropez Tarts, Tuna Canapés, Avocado Toast, Berries Zabaglione, Neiman Marcus Cake, Hibiscus Tea, and more.

At the conclusion of the luncheon, guests are invited to linger with a libation on the patio with Chef Jamie and Kate, weather permitting.

Cheers to those of you with travel plans to the west coast🥂. On top of Southwest Airlines now flying direct into Sonoma County from certain airports…you can now bring home a case of wine with no bag fee.

Southwest Airlines (LUV.N) will fly wine for free from parts of the U.S. West Coast ​after launching new flights to California's wine ‌country, in a rare freebie as carriers pile on additional charges to cover high jet fuel costs.
