πππCongratulations to the class of 2026! πππ
You've done it! I am so proud of the amazing group of kids that we have heading out into our community. I've watched many of these young adults since they were in kindergarten and some I know more than others. It was so inspiring to see 13 Valedictorians & 1 Salutatorian this year knowing the hurdles that this group of kids have had. These kids missed most of their entire middle school experience, throwing them in to high school with little to no guidance on how to navigate all the changes. They handled it with grace, courage to show up every day to keep fighting, and not letting it keep them back. They not only got through it but they have each thrived and grown so much.
I am proud of the many pathways that students will be taking - 4 off to the Military (thankful to those families who will sacrifice with them along the way), many off to trade schools, community college, University College, and some without a clear path yet, but I know they too will find the right fit.
If you have a graduate this year! Congrats to you as well - You have all raised some amazing humans that I am grateful to have be a part of our community. I am excited to see what the future holds for each of them.
