After seeing the incredible love, kindness, and support our community has shown one another these past few days, my heart is SO full! 🥹🩵

☕️🩵GOOD MORNING, NAVARRE! CAN WE SHOW A LITTLE LOVE TO SOMEONE THIS MORNING?!

I have a feeling my page has found its way to quite a few new faces these past couple of days, so WELCOME! 🥹🫶🏼

If there’s one thing I want to use this little platform for, it’s making sure the GOOD people in our community get the recognition they deserve.

And today, that starts with Overflow Acai + Coffee Co.! ☕️🌴

They generously contributed coffee to our community breakfast yesterday, and I wanted to make sure their kindness didn’t go unnoticed!

They didn’t have to help. They didn’t have to give anything. But they did, and that deserves a little love. 🤎

NAVARRE YOU HAVE LEFT ME SPEECHLESS.

A line at 6 AM, an entire day of baking, restocking, brewing coffee, and trying to keep up with y’all… and we are FINALLY SOLD OUT! 🥹🙌🏼

🤎 OVER 200 CINNAMON ROLLS
🥐 OVER 100 BREAKFAST SANDWICHES
☕ And plenty of hot coffee!

OVER 300 BREAKFAST ITEMS SERVED TO OUR COMMUNITY TODAY! ❤️‍🩹

What started as a heavy heart and a desire to help turned into something I never could have imagined.

To everyone who donated, shared, prayed, volunteered their kindness, or showed up to support our neighbors recovering from the hurricane… YOU made this happen.

The generosity I’ve witnessed today has been nothing short of incredible. Complete strangers helping complete strangers. People donating from states away. A community showing up for one another when it matters most. ❤️

And me? Well… I HAVEN’T SLEPT IN TWO NIGHTS. 😂💀 But my heart has never been fuller.

I would do every single exhausting minute all over again.

This was never about the bakery. It was about loving people when they needed it most.

God is SO good. 🙏🏼

I WILL be doing this again soon I’m having to leave Friday or I’d be doing it the rest of the week💔

Three days after the hurricane, and I think we can all agree… this is NOT how any of us planned to spend our October. 🥹❤️‍🩹

Some of you are back at work today. Some are still cleaning up yards, hauling branches, dealing with insurance companies, or waiting for the lights to come back on.

And some of you are just plain exhausted.

So here’s your Monday reminder: YOU DON’T HAVE TO HAVE EVERYTHING FIGURED OUT TODAY. ❤️

The laundry can wait. The yard doesn’t have to be perfect. It’s okay if you’re overwhelmed. It’s okay if you’re tired.

You’ve been through a lot.

And if all you managed to do this weekend was keep your family safe, feed everybody, and make it through another day… that’s enough. 🫶🏼

I hope today brings a little bit of normalcy, a little less stress, and maybe even a reason to smile.

And because we could all use something GOOD right now… tell me one little thing you’re grateful for this Monday morning. 🥹🤎

I’ll start: I’m grateful we live in a community where complete strangers show up for one another when it matters most.

I’ve had such a heavy heart today. 💔

After everything that happened with the hurricane last night, reading everyone’s stories, seeing the damage, hearing about families without power, water, and even some who have lost their homes… I just can’t stop thinking about y’all.

DOES ANYBODY NEED ANYTHING?

I don’t have a whole lot to offer, but I do have eggs, bacon, and two hands that know how to make a pretty good cinnamon roll. 🥹🤎

If you or your family are struggling to put something on the table right now, please reach out. I would love to help however I’m able. No judgment, no questions, and absolutely no embarrassment. You can message me privately if you’re more comfortable doing that. ❤️

Sometimes helping doesn’t have to mean doing something huge. Sometimes it’s a warm meal, a cinnamon roll, a hug, or simply knowing somebody cares.

And if you’re doing okay, please check on your neighbors. Especially our elderly neighbors, families with little ones, and anyone who may not have somebody looking out for them.

My heart breaks for those who have lost so much. I wish I could fix it all, but I can at least start with what I have. ❤️‍🩹

We’re a community, and communities take care of each other.
