Thank you for helping us grow and flourish over nine years at our first location here in Monroe! We went from 3 orders a day in our first days to lines out the door on our last days here! I followed my dream and opened a pizzeria and you showed up to support me.

Unfortunately when you lease the building you run a business in you’re not guaranteed to be at that location as long as you want. I always thought I’d be here the rest of my life and be able to purchase this building one day. The only reason we are closing this location is the landlord sold the building to someone else who has other plans.

After spending the last couple weeks putting our equipment in storage we are finally done and turning in our keys. The amount of support we have received here assures me you will show up and support us in our next location. So make sure to keep following our page and we will keep you updated on where you can get Pope’s Pizza next!

Thanks again for helping us go out with a bang! These past two days have been the busiest we have ever had! Sorry we couldn’t get to everybody’s orders but we will be back at it again tomorrow with one final special! We will take phone orders while we can or you can walk in and place an order, but the online ordering has been disabled so we can let you know what we do still have in stock. Thanks again Monroe!

Thank you to everyone that came out and got a pizza today. The love and support of this community has really overwhelmed me today. I’m glad to know what I’ve done here really has meant something to you all. I really thought I’d be in this same spot making pizzas the rest of my life. It’s sad to have to be moving but I know there are even greater opportunities out there. I’m not exactly sure what they are yet, but I’m glad to have spent the last nine years making my homemade pizzas in my hometown! We still have two more days left at this location so I look forward to finishing strong!

We will be closing up shop at our current location at the end of Thursday this week. As most of you know the new landlord has plans to put a gas station up in place of our store and has asked us to vacate the property.

We will be stepping away for a little while and reviewing all options for our future. There are many options for us to consider, and we will carefully consider all of them.
