Bringing the Beachy Bee to the menu as an homage to my grandpa goes so much deeper than I think most people realize.
The faces in these photos represent generations of people who have lived, learned, grown, married, raised their children, and built lives right here in this little town. They’re my family. They’re my roots. They’re the people who helped shape who I am.
Sometimes I think people assume I’m not from here. 🤣 But I am. And so are the people who raised me, loved me, and watched me grow.
Sorella has always been about more than coffee. It’s about creating a place where people gather to have a latte with a friend, a morning meeting, a pop-up, or simply a corner to slow down. Every menu item is so detailed and thought out, but this one carries a piece of my heart.
When you order a Beachy Bee, you may just think you’re getting a really yummy latte. But to me, it’s a love letter to my grandpa, my family, the memories that raised me, and the little historic town that has always been home.
Who would’ve thought a latte could hold so much life?
