Almostttt too pretty to eat - our EARLY BIRD brekky sandwich is a loving assembly of avocado spread, carrots, grated beets, alfalfa sprouts, cucumber salad and herbed cream cheese on our house made “everything” focaccia with a healthy drizzle of olive oil for extra scrumptiousness and curb appeal 💅

You can add bacon (pictured here) and/or eggs how you like em for some extra protein and a little, very much worth it, mess. Otherwise this beauty is GOOD TO GO for the vegetarians out there and can be made vegan sans the cream cheese.

The Early Bird and its other breakfast friends are available alll day long ☀️☀️☀️

•Must be 21 or older.
•Prior restaurant/service/foh industry experience (!!)

BONUS: barista skills and/or have knowledge of wine.

It is my absolute pleasure to introduce….”The Pancake!” 👏

Our batter ferments overnight allowing our pancake to really riseee! She’s finished off with a buttered honey maple syrup and the yummiest dollop of a compound cinnamon butter.

Shareable and available à la carte Fridays and Saturdays for now with the very real prospect of being added to the menu for good. 🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻

Our friends, Steph and Pat, are soon moving home to their beautiful family in Detroit ❤️ They’ve been with us since our beginning days of our first biz Scout Wine Co., first(and still) as friends, then as partners for wine dinners where Steph cooked and I poured/paired the wine. Then Pat and Steph became l our first set of countertop regulars at the café and have been there for every event, celebration, win and loss. Steph answered my call when we were in a pinch in the kitchen and had been apart of the staff ever since. Her last shift with us was yesterday 💔

Whether it’s Steph singing while making sandwiches on the line or Pat grabbing his daily Americano, gash dang we’re gonna miss their beautiful selves in our day to day. Really could not be happier for their reunion with their loved ones back home! They are such special people and I know their family has missed them so much. Thank you to their Detroit crew for letting us and so many others, love on their Pat and Steph for their multi-year stay in California. They were in the good hands of their self-made Central Valley community. I’m sure you’ll be receiving many Californian visitors 💕

Steph and Pat, our sweet cherubs, we are so happy for this next chapter of yours and grateful to be part of this one. We love you and will miss you dearly!! Cheers friends🥂

Since day one we’ve partnered with our pals over .modesto for our espresso program, believing in consistency, quality and connection 🤝

Gianna and Giovanni are the siblings behind Caffettino, a quaint n’ charming coffee shop/ roastery tucked within their families health food store, Cornucopia, in our shared hometown of Modesto.

Gianna and I go allll the way back to middle school! Today we’re growing babies and businesses together. Truly proud to partner with Caffettino and so happy we get to share their beautiful coffee with our guests at Lucille. If you’ve ever had an espresso bev with us, you’re supporting not just one local fam biz, but two 💕

Their thoroughbred espresso blend is our much beloved, resident espresso. Have it in your next beverage with us and/or bring some retail beans home with you 🏠

Our Miss.Manager Kara is moving on from the dining floor of Lucille and onto what’s been always knocking on her heart. Kara is/does many things and working as a midwife’s assistant is her latest, most beautiful endeavor. 💫

Crazy how her dropping her resume off in my inbox a few years ago turned into her becoming our first FOH manager, my right hand and everyone’s go-to gal. Truly thankful for this incredible woman and endlessly proud of her for following her heart. Her presence will surely be missed but her ripple will be felt forever. My Kara photo album is dense, please enjoy a few fav memories ❤️🥹

This upcoming weekend will be her last couple shifts with us, with her final bow being this Saturday 1/17. (Buttttt she may do a few cameo shifts because neither of us are ready to let go fully).

Happy New Year!! 💫

This past year provided space for our sweet Lucille and our family to grow. Through it all we experienced outrageous love and support. Lucille is Wyatt and myself’s collective dream turned reality that has become SO much than just ours, she’s our teams and she is yours. 💕 Lucille only shines because of the collective hearts that bring her to life day in and day out, because of the many people and stories that share space. We can’t thank you enough for being here with us and allowing us to cook and take care of ya! With year 2025 down in the books, we feel immense gratitude for our amazing team, for our relationships with our dedicated vendors, and for our absolutely beautiful community. This is what it’s all about 🥰

Something quite special about the fresh light of the sun peaking through the clouds on New Year’s Day. Providing both a blanket of reflection and a healthy dose of ambition. We’ve got so much love to give y’all and look forward to showing up and serving you in this new year. We’ve got some great opportunity on the horizon, we can’t wait to have you on the journey with us!
